Today we got photos from a new parent. She used to have 2 failed IUI in Philippines and came to Lee Women's Hospital at the age of 33. After initial check-up, we found the main cause of infertility was insufficient penetration of sperm.
This HBA test is scored by calculation the percentage of ova that are penetrated or the average number of sperm penetrations per ovum. The normal should be 80%, but their score was only 42%. So we used ICSI and assisted hatching to help them. Luckily the result was positive. Now they welcomed their first baby on Feb 1st, 2019. Congratulations~we are happy for you~
